VFC Gas Blowback UMP Airsoft Gun
VFC just released a video of their new GBB UMP, which is in development. The video shows the UMP Gas Blowback being test fired in semi, burst, and full auto modes.
Currently, VFC is doing OEM work for Umarex, producing the HK416 and HK417 AEGs, as well as the GBB versions of those and the GBB M27 IAR airsoft rifle. Since VFC is already in partnership with Umarex to produce H&K label airsoft guns, we expect the GBB UMP, when it is released, will be a fully trademarked H&K UMP gas blowback airsoft rifle.
As you can see from the photo, the current model features a 4 position selector lever. Safe, Semi, Burst, and Full Auto modes are present. The burst appears to be a 2 round burst, the same as that found on modern MP5/10 models.
Unfortunately, the video has now been marked as private, so it can no longer be played. However, it shouldn’t be long before a more official announcement is made by either VFC or Umarex.
