KWA KRISS Vector GBB Airsoft Gun
We’ve been talking about the KRISS Vector for over a year, and it’s still not old news. KWA is rapidly finishing the design and perfecting the production of this airsoft replica, and it’s just as cool as everyone expects it to be. While we were at the SHOT Show, we got a chance to handle one of the pre-production models.
While the KWA KRISS Vector is extremely compact, it’s also fairly heavy. My first impression is that the KRISS weighs about as much as a short barreled AR. It is smaller, so may be more ideal for really close quarters such as vehicular operations. In addition, the KRISS Vector sports a two round burst, as well as semi and full auto. This burst is capable of putting two rounds in the same hole with a single trigger pull.
One interesting feature is the ambidextrous safety and selector lever, which are separate controls. This allows the user to choose a fire mode, such as the two round burst, and keep the safety on. When contact is made, the user flips off the safety with the firing hand, and does not have to worry about moving the lever too far. Some of the other controls I found a little different than I was used to. The charging handle and bolt catch are both easy enough to actuate for a right-handed shooter, but the magazine catch might take more getting used to. Because of the location of the magazine, the mag release is found on the front of the body underneath where most shooters would grip with their left hand. For a right handed shooter, it means that you certainly won’t accidentally hit the mag release, but you do have to shift your grip to reach it. However, it’s in the perfect spot to grab the magazine and hit the release with your thumb. That way you won’t have to drop your magazine when reloading.
The gun itself is built extremely well. The folding stock is solid, and features an adjustable length of pull. Because the majority of the weight is forward, the balance felt a little odd, since I’m used to using the AR platform. Many of the other people who handled the KRISS Vector and KWA Vector GBB loved the compact feel. The KWA KRISS Vector should be available sometime this summer, and the expected price is $379.95.

what is the fps and the firing rate? and when in the summer will it be out what month?

Since both the KWA MP9 and MP7 are 400FPS, we expect the KRISS will be about the same. There should be a 350FPS bolt, or other upgrade options for CQB. We don’t know the exact release date yet, but we’re hoping it comes in time to use during the summer months.

it will be fully adjustable with an ipad for both the rof and fps

No it will not, I saw that Evike video as well, and that was a real steel Vector with an ipad cable they put in the grip, not a production or prototype model. The options they said were possible in the video just seemed too impractical for a company as KWA to include. That being said it also would be a expensive addition to make. As cool as that would be, I’m inclined to believe that it will not be an option

When exactly should be available the KRISS?

It was initially scheduled for July or August this year. However, since most of the other releases this year have been delayed, I would expect that the KWA KRISS will also be delayed. I would hope to see it in November.
